Alpinestars race boots by young French Formula rising star Pierre Gasly during the first two races of the 2020 Formula 1 season. Gasly would pilot Red Bull Racing’s second team, the newly named and liveried Scuderia Alpha Tauri (formerly Scuderia Toro Rosso) Honda-powered AT01 machine.
This is a rare chance to acquire a current season race-used boots worn by the young French F1 star.
The white lightweight kangaroo leather Supermono boots have the blue Alpha Tauri lettering on their Velcro fastening straps. The blue Alpinestars branding logo is printed on all sides with the outside heels having Gasly’s name, French Tricolor and Alpha Tauri logo on them. Running around the edge of the boots openings is Alpha Tauri Clothing’s ‘Fits Body and Mind’ adage. Pierre Gasly has signed, dated, and race documented the boots from when they were last used.

Tech suits, or technical racing suits, are high-performance swimsuits designed to reduce drag and increase muscle compression. That said, the highly compressive nature of race suits make them notorious for being a pain to put on.

Most suits use fabric made of Nomex, a synthetic material produced by DuPont that retains its fire-retardant properties with time and use. Other suits consist of cotton treated with Proban, a chemical manufactured by Rhodia, or other substances.

These karting suits have mostly an outer layer in cordura and an inner layer in cotton. The objective is simple:to provide a high level of resistance to abrasions and tears that can occur in case of a fall. Please note that CIK-FIA Level 2 karting suits have a validity date of 5 years.
