Pair of custom-made Sparco boots made for and used by Swedish driver Marcus Ericsson during the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500. They would also have been used during other events during the 2019 IndyCar season while Ericsson was driving for the Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team.
The black and silver boots have Ericsson’s personal ‘ME’ initial logo printed on all sides. Their silver, edged in yellow heels have Ericsson’s race #7 stitched to the outsides. There are silver panels to the inner sides and silver/yellow panels to the outer sides along with Sparco trademark lettering. Marcus Ericsson has personally signed both boots on the toe area in silver marker pen next to their Sparco logos.

Tech suits, or technical racing suits, are high-performance swimsuits designed to reduce drag and increase muscle compression. That said, the highly compressive nature of race suits make them notorious for being a pain to put on.
-
Most suits use fabric made of Nomex, a synthetic material produced by DuPont that retains its fire-retardant properties with time and use. Other suits consist of cotton treated with Proban, a chemical manufactured by Rhodia, or other substances.
-
These karting suits have mostly an outer layer in cordura and an inner layer in cotton. The objective is simple:to provide a high level of resistance to abrasions and tears that can occur in case of a fall. Please note that CIK-FIA Level 2 karting suits have a validity date of 5 years.
